Fabergé

April 3rd, 2012

My wish list :)

OEUF YELAGIN BLEU ( collection LES PALAIS IMPÉRIAUX)

,,A miniature enamelled egg pendant of rich royal blue enamel over engraved white gold, ornamented with an elaborate frieze and accented with 58 round white diamonds. Part of the “Palace” series of miniature egg pendants, this design is named after Yelagin, the imposing palace that was a favourite Romanov retreat in the 18th and 19th centuries, built by Alexander I for his mother, Empress Marie Fedorovna.  This piece is set in 18 carat white gold and features white round diamonds. “

OEUF PUR ROSE OPALE ( collection LES ÉMAUX IMPÉRIAUX)

,,The serene simplicity of this deep rose pink egg pendant, with its satin-like sheen, contrasts with the complexity of its craftsmanship. The yellow gold egg is engraved in a gently spiralling design, using the near-lost traditional guilloché technique, hand-worked on hundred year old lathes, and overlaid with a deep, opalescent pink enamel to allow the engraved pattern to shine through, and creating an effect of shimmering silk. The pendant is finished with a diamond set loop and emerald cabochon. ”

LE CCOLLIER PLUME d’OR

“Magical bejewelled gold Firebird feathers, finely chased and set with rubies and diamonds, curl around a magnificent cabochon emerald of 127.76 carats, the centerpiece of this spectacular contemporary Fabergé egg pendant, on a chain set with moonstones, emeralds and rose diamonds. This Egg has been created to echo the egg designed by Nicholas Haslam for the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, 2012. This piece is set in 18 carat yellow gold and features diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and moonstones”.
